Unfortunatly, being a police officer has kind of ruined films dealing with law enforcement for me since I find them to be too unrealistic.

The Choirboys is one of my favorites of all time (yes, you read that right) and the Black Marble is another Wambaugh creation that just has those realistic elements and details that most cop movies miss out on. However, I'm a little leary of recommending Wambaugh's movies since they are a bit dated, and regular civilians probably wouldn't be as impressed with them as someone like me.
Jockohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16292833295819266389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8823340817818385797.post-48989364378361891792017-10-15T17:47:12.501-07:002017-10-15T17:47:12.501-07:00Jesse, thanks for tracking that down. It just so happened to be an episode in which they gave viewers an inside look at how they review, and as luck would have it Ebert loved The Black Marble while Siskel hated it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14984112497088619496noreply@blogger.com
