It would be impossible to make today though.Ystafell Gynghorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06157335049148464110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8823340817818385797.post-49665628982583719182022-04-23T20:10:11.722-07:002022-04-23T20:10:11.722-07:00I bought the album. We just wanted to see Sam Jones and Dalton get it on. Plus, a few "Wizard of Oz" references, sealed the deal.Neccohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01259970343794306931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8823340817818385797.post-78355931105856393442017-02-04T20:00:15.287-08:002017-02-04T20:00:15.287-08:00"No, not the bore worms!" I find her grasp of the satirical tone to be spot-on; never too campy, but with a sly wink. Plus, she looks and sounds as if she stepped right out of a 30's-era film set. I saw FLASH GORDON numerous times in the theater, and in fact, I remember her earning the most (warranted) laughs from the various audiences. I've always wondered how much different INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM would have been had Spielberg cast Ms. Anderson in the role of Willie Scott. bistis6https://www.blogger.com/profile/03335237816132498306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8823340817818385797.post-69307068173367601482015-04-13T15:16:12.827-07:002015-04-13T15:16:12.827-07:00This movie is a desecration of the great and beaut...This movie is a desecration of the great and beautiful comic strip created by Alex Raymond, on which the original Universal serials starring Buster Crabbe were based. Except for its production values, this film is inferior in nearly every way to the serials, especially the lead performances.Peter L.
